We’ve all been there — juggling cold hands, helping kids, or rushing out the door, only to struggle lining up a zipper. Starting your jacket shouldn’t feel like a battle. MagnAdapt™ Adapters make it easy, every time.
Back in 2016, we experimented with something called MagZip™ — a self-aligning zipper designed to make zipping easier with one hand. The designers truly nailed it (not our invention!).
At the time, we thought it might help pregnant moms zip up when they could no longer see the bottom of their jackets — thanks to a growing bump (true story!). But a few technical limitations back then meant we had to shelve the idea.
Here’s the thing: we built a working adapter that allowed MagZip™ to function on jackets it wasn’t originally designed for, using the same principles as our jacket extender designs. Without realizing it, we’d created the world’s first retrofit MagZip™ adapter — making it possible for anyone to benefit from this innovation with no sewing or permanent modifications.
Today, with our Universal Adapter and patents to support it, we’re exploring how to bring MagZip™ into everyday life — not just for new parents, but for anyone who struggles with zips. Like toddlers learning to dress themselves in daycare, or anyone who simply wants an easier jacket experience.
